difference between hard water and soft water.If you take a bath with soap in rainwater, it is very fun and lots of bubbles are formed, then we say that the waterissoft.

But if you use wells and tap water, sometimes soap foams are not formed and there is dirty scum and in this thing we say that the water is hard.

what is hard water and soft water

contains calcium(ca) and magnesium(mg) ions.

It is not suitable for cleaning purposes because it does not produces leather with soap.

It forms deposits of calcium and magnesium on pipes and other parts of the industry.

and therefore hard water is not suitable for industrial.

Why do you think rainwater is always soft?Many salt comes out of the rocks and dissolve in the water.

Then the water evaporates, due to which it rains later, the salt remains in the sea itself, which means that the rain water is free from salt.
